This school is very assertive with their academics, they want their students to be ready for college by giving them AVID based subjects and homework. They prepare their students well for high school and their music program is amazing. They have great music directors and athletics.

It feels like there is constantly some sort of commotion or fighting going on in this school. I just want my child to have a safe environment to improve and learn in, which feels impossible to find here at Stephens.

So, we got a new principle and some new teachers, also the building capacity has increased. The fights, bullying in school have dropped to one every 2 1/2 months. This school has fights every single week. The teachers are incredible but in Late April- Early May there was a condition 3 lockdown that lowered to a 2 and then down to a 1. The Avid kids are nice too. But the kids here are targets for bullies. Generally, I wouldn't recommend this school.
