I love the small size and how everybody knows everybody. Not everybody likes how small it is, but I love it because it feels more personable to me. The teachers genuinely care for students for the most part, and if students actually try to learn, then they can succeed. The problem is that some students are lazy, but that's the same at every school. It's very safe here, and there practically no fights. The sports are fun, but there aren't many options because we're such a small school. From my experience, people are overall pretty friendly, but there is of course some drama, but it's possible to stay out of it. I'm happy to have gone to school here, and I wouldn't prefer to have gone to any other school, although I know not all of the other students feel this way because it is a very small school. Some things (sports, electives, etc) are limited because of our small size, but I believe we make very good use of what we have, and I don't feel cheated of any experiences or anything.

the only thing i like abt saline is club day bc then i don't have to do any work that day and playing basketball and doing track. some of the teachers there are terrible bc they like to not teach us but then when someone from the school board comes in or the principal they'll start acting like they've been teaching us the whole time. other than that it's a pretty good school but also the bathrooms are nasty and the water from the water fountain is nasty. and the lunch isn't very good but the pizza and chicken nuggets are. that's all i have to say- gr

When I transferred to Saline High School, I faced plenty of bullying and had absolutely no help in the process. There have been many times when I have been singled out, and neglected by one of the teachers. Although I face these issues daily, I do not let it stop me from my success at becoming a doctor.

I am a graduate from the class of '74, I must say it was a challenge, but a fair school. There were definitely some teachers there at the time that really cared about you and wanted you to succeed in life. Saline has become a great school and have some of the best teachers that North Louisiana has t...
