Parkside has a very strong pride in their school. The faculty and admission is very invested in making every student a part of a tight knit community

Parkside High School was a fun school to me. There would often be activities to get everyone involved. It was cringey to me sometimes. I also thought it was weird how they have had 3 different principles out of the 4 years I was there. But I'm not sure how that works so not judging. I loved all of my teachers no matter how much work they gave us. The school was diverse in my opinion. There wasn't any major separations in between races. I lied only having 2 classes my senior year although it did nit prepare me at all for how real college was. Overall my experience at Parkside was satisfying.

My LGBT student has faced bullying and unequal treatment from students and staff. Attempts to address the issue have been unsuccessful. The special ed coordinator, however, is excellent.
