The school needs help with car loading, you have staff standing there talking among each other, carrying radios (walkie talkies) for what dont know ..you fill out a form to put on your car with child name and teacher and grade for what.. No one approaches your car to read it and hand you your child ..if anything staff is good to tell you to move up, so child can walk further after you already waited approximately 30 to 45 minutes.. So your best bet is crowd up the sidewalk and get your own kid because car pick up doesnt work well at Windcrest..They aren't organized...

Horrible!! We were all treated with disrespect and disdain. Windcrest Elementary wanted my son gone and they got their wish.

We have been at Windcrest for 13 years. They have had their ups and downs during this time. It was a really good school for the first several years we were there. Windcrest is an OK school. The teachers are doing the best they can within a system that is less than perfect. The school does try to encourage parent involvement, but there is very little of it. As previously mentioned, if one of my kids gets sent to the nurse, I am not called & have to find out ab...
