It's a nice school, though for the few years I attended the school, I didn't observe any open active recruitment for clubs for sports or academics really. I would have liked to see if they would include for life skill classes like cooking and such for more interactive classes for students. Though, I did have some wonderful teachers and the few chances that I received for school trips were really fun too.

I loved how some people were involved. I would like to see more fun activity's and more school spirit.

I transfered to Perkins High in my sophomore year and I was very disappointed with the lack of diversity in school as a minority as well as the setback in academic opportunities. The school is strong in sport yet weak in club activities for students.

Best school I could have asked for! Teachers are extremely nice and actually care about their students. Every student gets a Macbook Air to use during their time at Perkins that greatly supplements their learning. Extremely progressive!

This district has gone down hill dramatically in the past few years. Teacher strike. Declining test scores. Out of touch administration, board of education, and poor communication. If you can live elsewhere, do it. This is a school district on its way down.
