I have attended Perkins local school district all my career and I would not change a thing or go back to anything that has happened, every experience made was fit for our school and environment. I truly believe Perkins does it's best with making it a great school with working with what we have.

It's a nice school, though for the few years I attended the school, I didn't observe any open active recruitment for clubs for sports or academics really. I would have liked to see if they would include for life skill classes like cooking and such for more interactive classes for students. Though, I did have some wonderful teachers and the few chances that I received for school trips were really fun too.

The best part is the involvement. I am super involved in the school and I truly think that is what brings me joy. Doing community service, clubs, and sports is what brought e most joy throughout my high school experience. The worst part would be some teachers and their teaching ethics. There is a lot of favoritism under staff and coaches which made others feel less. Not all staff view you as a priority, just a number.

Best school I could have asked for! Teachers are extremely nice and actually care about their students. Every student gets a Macbook Air to use during their time at Perkins that greatly supplements their learning. Extremely progressive!

This district has gone down hill dramatically in the past few years. Teacher strike. Declining test scores. Out of touch administration, board of education, and poor communication. If you can live elsewhere, do it. This is a school district on its way down.
