Elliott County High School is the only high school in the entire county, and for being the only one, the staff and faculty make do with what they are given. Due to the small class sizes, we are all very close and have a very tight-nit community. Even though we do not seem to have enough money for everything that we need, I respect the effort that most of our teachers put in to get us ready for life and filled with the knowledge we need.

Personally, I dislike my school. Elliott County schools focus too much on sports and very little on academics and students. Being a student at Elliott County Schools has taught me that in life sometimes people will try and knock you down but you have to fight through that, and prove to people that you are strong. I would love to have this scholarship so I can prove to people at Elliott County schools, that I am not the outcome of my parents and that I am bound to great things.

It has definitely improved since I moved to the school. Needs some improvement though. The teachers are really good and they feel more like a friend than a teacher. I wish they had more sports, but we don't have enough funds to do that.

My experience is not great with this school because if want to go to college do not go here.
