As an almost 4-year student at this school, I have experienced almost everything it can offer. While every school has its strengths, Santa Gertrudis' lies within their band and sports programs. The Mighty Lion band is very successful and well supported, same goes for the Lady Lion Softball team. The administration is very supportive of their students in all fields.

I liked Santa Gertrudis Academy high school because everyone knew everyone and for the most part everybody got along well. The teachers and other staff were very friendly and made good bonds with their students and tried to help them with anything that they needed. I liked how the school is right next to the college because the students could go to their dual credit classes face to face and go to the SUB for lunch. The only thing I didn't like about Academy is that it was very small. The athletics program is very good and they offer almost every sport.

Santa Gertrudis Academy High School is a small high school, with fairly limited facilities. Teachers, students, parents, and faculty work closely together to create a wonderful learning environment, which helps prepare students for college. There is a high teacher-to-student ratio. The school is very involved in the community and has regular service projects.

Faculty regularly loses important documents such as absence notes and transcripts and makes little to no effort to correct their mistakes. Principle makes up ridiculous rules daily and never takes the time to explain the rules to the students. We have been without an theatre arts teacher this entire...
