It has good classes and hundreds of clubs to choose from, but the black population is severely lacking. If you don't find friends quickly and constantly, you'll be lonely all four years.

I started Niskayuna High School in third quarter as a freshman. Everyone was very welcoming and nice. I came in as someone who doesn't know English, but now I am going to Boston College because their support is terrific in all aspects. I also made great friends at this school and got so many opportunities like getting be a peer-tutor and a part of New Vision: Health Careers Program.

I'd consider it a high school that is pretty good in terms of STEM subjects and exceptional in terms of the arts

Excellent high school! My children are very different types of learners and all have had an excellent educational experience and found their passions at this high school. It’s getting better every year!

I have been a parent in the Nisky district for 15 years, with my youngest now in HS. I can tell you that its a matter of time before this district - which is completely overrated - crashes. The Administration for a pristigious, upscale district is lost (to say the least) and without giving too much...
