Being able to attend Seaford High School (SHS) is something I'll forever be grateful for. From my experience, the teachers here are great. Many of the teachers at SHS are really passionate about the subject they teach. This overall makes the subject easier to learn as a student. I also greatly appreciate how understanding the teachers are. The teachers go out of their way to make sure that their students succeed One of the best parts of my time attending SHS is getting to meet my long time friends, and I'm so beyond grateful for that. Another one of my favorite experiences at SHS was being a part of the music program and being able to perform in the NYC Saint Patrick's Day Parade. I don't have many negative experiences, however one thing I would like to see change is the amount of classes we provide. When picking classes, I feel that as a student you are very constricted between either AP or regular courses. I feel that we should incorporate more honors classes into SHS.

There are many ways to get involved at Seaford High School. Everyone is so welcoming and makes the Seaford community a great place to live. Teachers and other staff go above and beyond to make students feel accepted yet also push us to be the best we can be.

The school allows students to hit kids. When brought to administration, nothing is done. Building is falling apart and code violations all over the place. The staff is nice but it’s clear most of admin doesn’t care about the students. Do better SHS!

I have a child in elementary school and another a senior in High School. The teachers care about whether the children are learning. The school offers extra help for the struggling student and AP classes for the gifted student. At Parent-Teacher conferences I feel that the teacher really takes the ti...

This is a GREAT school! Yes, there is the occasional bad teacher that somehow made tenure despite their lack of teaching abilities, but there are so many other teachers that are so intelligent and invested in their students. Until a few years ago, when a new long awaited contract was signed, dozens...

Public School teachers rock! The teachers at this school gave me a priceless education. I came to this school from a Dunce Duncan private school, with terrible study habits and no intellectual curiosity, and learned to learn here. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Public school teachers are th...
