I love that there will always be a teacher to help you with anything you need. Severn really made me feel ready for college.

Severn offers a robust and extremely challenging academic curriculum. The athletic programs are a bit under-established and coaches pull from youth leagues they are associated with but that is standard practice. Be aware that large groups of students come from a small group of local schools making assimilation difficult or at least lengthy for some students.

Unfortunately not up to expectations — there is zero individualized attention for kids. while there are a few great teachers, there are a few who are not good as well as some who are just mean. Administration drove out a great long standing teacher last year for standing up to administration. The lunch time food is horrible snd unhealthy. Wished we had looked at a different school.

My daughter is new to the Severn School (6th grade). She came from the public school system so was new on all levels. However, she, so far, has enjoyed being a part of the school. Severn School has offered my children (in elementary school) a wonderful academic experience and rich character development. Severn is a great school. Both of my daughters have attended the school since the sixth grade. They are now in the 9th and 11th grades. The school is nurturing, challenging, and rigorous.
