St. Robert School is one of Shorewood’s premier private Catholic schools and serves preschool through eighth-grade students. Its historic brick schoolhouse - a Milwaukee County landmark built in 1937 in the Lombardy Romanesque architectural style - is located on a charming and bustling city street just blocks away from the shore of Lake Michigan and beautiful Atwater Park.
St. Robert’s curriculum focuses on faith-based study and coursework that prepares students to become leaders in the local community and in all aspects of their lives. In addition, the school touts its “workshop model” learning, a creative and hands-on approach that encourages students to fully engage with their education while meeting the school’s high academic standards.
Beyond religious education, central areas of study include English language arts, math, science and engineering, social studies, world language study, art (including a partnership with the prestigious Milwaukee Art Museum), music and choir, physical education, and digital technology.

I have had children at St Robert School for 9 years & cannot say enough good things about it. The academics are great, the teachers are caring, & the parents community is supportive & fun. The staff goes above & beyond, especially to keep our kids in school this year during the pandemic. St Robert graduates do well in high school. I encourage anyone to check it out,

My three children have attended St. Robert for the past four years and have thrived in the environment. The teachers are nurturing, the academics strong and the extracurriculars are enjoyable. The parent community has been particularly welcoming, engaging, and supportive and it's truly a wonderful community to belong to.
