There use to be quite a few teachers that were supportive and appeared to care about the students. At this time it's more about who you hang out with and who you are related to. It's unfortunate because it use to be a really great school. I think there are people that care, but our school board is the same way. It's all about who is a part of the click. We have a few teachers that unfortunately are getting burned out due to they are the ones that are trying to care about the kids, but others don't.

The school does not place a high priority on health or safety issues. They do have locked doors, they have staff wear ids, visitors have to sign in at the office which is on the 2nd floor. No metal detectors. Classes on health issues are only available in physical ed classes, so if you don't take them, you don't get the information.

This school does not have the funding to have a lot of extracurriculars and the socioeconomics of the population in town and surrounding area make it difficult for people to pay for students to participate and have fun in this type of activity.
