I've always had an interesting experience going to high school. I had some really great teachers...teachers willing to help explain concepts deeper, who make an effort to bond with their students, and want you to succeed. Teachers like that have influenced my life greatly. I think the hardest part about it high school is the other students, but that's not something in my control.

It offers a variety of programs, with a lot of opportunities to engage in and even create your own clubs. They offer experiences to explore learning about different careers, while there is a day where colleges from Utah come to talk about themselves.

My experience as a student at Maple Mountain highschool was generally positive. Besides the expected teenage drama, I felt very successful and safe at that school. However, due to the lack of diversity in that school, I did tend to feel left out as someone of color. The art and preforming arts programs there were amazing outlets however to feel myself and make friends.

It doesn’t feel like a place of learning; it feels like a place where you’re constantly looking over your shoulder, never truly feeling safe or at ease. When you’...

I saw the video of the MMHS win over SFHS in the last 3.7 seconds of the game. Good coaching and sharp players to never give up, always stay focused, know football rules and play to the end. What an excellent example for all athletes. Good Luck the rest of the season. Richard Kroll Visaginas, Lithua...
