It is a average school, easy to make friends, overall I created many good memories and taken great opportunities.

Stamford High School has been a great experience for me. It's a very big school, but it still feels like a small community. Most teachers want you to succeed and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure that you do. I am academically challenged, can play the sports that I enjoy, and can be as involved as I want with so many different clubs. I would like to see the food improve and would prefer that classes start later, but overall, I am happy at Stamford High.

Unfortunately, I was bullied at Stamford High School and it was very rough as an Asian American to blend in with the students, there were only 3-4 Chinese students in my year and unfortunately I was placed with a group of students who were rude and bratty. They thought they were entitled and were very rude.

Guidance counselor never helped I didn’t graduate with my class because they messed up my credits I had to attend summer school and they pulled me out because they noticed the mess up they robbed me of my graduation experience. Fights constantly in the school. The teachers did not respect students....

SHS is a good school with very good teachers. It's sad that it has such a low rating on this website. They are a very diverse population, and that is not a negative thing.

Shs is a really good school if you take advantage of what it has to offer. The problem is, several people don't and that's why the school gets a "bad" reputation in some ways. This school has it's issues just like any other school but some of the negative publicity it gets is really blown way out of...
