I was lucky and had a great group of friends, my whole class was a good grade. The school didn't get us ready for college at all. We had no mid terms or finals, which we will have in college, therefor we aren't prepared with time management. Some teachers are great and really care, some don't at all, you will find that in most schools though. I would like to see more college preparation for students.

My overall experience with stamford high has been an excellent experience and a great way to get a good education. Most of all with their high quality of teachings and counseling. It is truly a great environment and atmosphere for me as a student. I am able to be involved with the school community and know more too. Although through hardships in some academics i am able to still receive support on a one on one teacher basis. It allows me and other students to gain access and confidence to our learning. Stamford high is such an enlightening place to study and to have a great education system. Truly honored and delighted.

I enjoyed my four years at Stamford High School. The diversity of the school and the administration/staff have prepared me for the next chapter in my life, college.

Guidance counselor never helped I didn’t graduate with my class because they messed up my credits I had to attend summer school and they pulled me out because they noticed the mess up they robbed me of my graduation experience. Fights constantly in the school. The teachers did not respect students....

SHS is a good school with very good teachers. It's sad that it has such a low rating on this website. They are a very diverse population, and that is not a negative thing.

Shs is a really good school if you take advantage of what it has to offer. The problem is, several people don't and that's why the school gets a "bad" reputation in some ways. This school has it's issues just like any other school but some of the negative publicity it gets is really blown way out of...
