Staples has great academics and after school activities. The school is generally clean and most of the teachers are nice. There is a wide variety of classes to take, a lot of them are really interesting.

Strong academics, but extremely competitive and has some teachers that are not all that great. Has lots of great extracurriculars, but some extracurriculars are extremely consuming and intense, far more than at an average school.

We intended to move to Westport "just for the schools" but after much thought decided to keep our kids in the Norwalk school district. We came to the conclusion that compared to Brien McMahon and Norwalk high schools, Staples high is in actuality equally rated and not all that. More modern classroom...

Our son is truly thriving at school. Teachers actually care about their students. Strong curriculum with depth and students are well prepared for college. Their top students last year headed to Harvard, Yale and other top institutions

Both my kids love this school. Great support from teachers in what they are interested in. So many teachers go the extra mile to make sure kids understand the material.
