GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at Stuttgart High School has been good and bad. The school is cool and so are most of the teachers, some just don't know how to teach kids and that's ok I guess we manage. The best part was meeting people and eventually calling them friends and then the bad is some of the people aren't as nice as you would like them to be. Very judgmental, mean, and just unfriendly but that's not everyone though.

My experience as being an Alum I was able to see both perspectives as a student who was in attendance and someone watching decisions being made from an outsider point of view. I can say that the district takes heed to what is best for the students and teachers. Including the community as well in the building. Appreciating nurse, janitors, etc.

I like the closeness of the school. Every student was encouraged to get involved. The teachers were always there to make sure each student has what they needed. The faculty at the school was also very supportive of each students goals and ambitions.

My kids are pushed to learn and do well in many of their classes but for two years now the English department has been a joke. (with the exception of Mr. Forester). The other teachers, especially one I won't name that seems to think she's a high school student herself, don't seem to know how to teac...

With Pam Dean going to be running it next year there's no hope for them everything will still be below average because her attitude is below average.

I'm concerned about students future. There's a principal at the high school who doesn't care to investigate issues when they arise, so that maybe that same issue can be prevented in the future. All he wants to do is throw the children out. He's inconsiderate, cocky, disrespectful, uncaring and not p...

I am concerned that more and more of the advanced classes are being "outsourced" to the community college for concurrent college credit. Teaching positions and courses are being eliminated as district loses population.
