Being a student at Highland Prep offers a mix of both reediness and angst for college. As much as I do not like the school I attend, it does offer a decent position for the future.

Honestly, it's been alright. I've been here for all 4 years, and I've been a dedicated member of the National Honor Society since my sophomore year. I definitely don't think it's a perfect school, but they have gotten me ready for college more than I could say for other schools. I wish that they had more extracurriculars; they have no wrestling team here, even though there is ample space to have one, and I know there are plenty of coaches who would be willing to coach and teach kids starting during their freshman year. I have no complaints about their other sports, but I still believe they could branch out and do far more. I'm happy they gave me the chance to meet all of the people that I have, and in terms of preparing me for college, especially since I plan on going into engineering, they have done a good job, honestly. There are many improvements Highland Prep could make, but I don't believe that the school is bad at all, and I'm thankful for the opportunities I've been given.

It is a good school. I've been going for 4 years and playing varsity football for 3. The best experience I have is with my football team but the school isn't very sports oriented but the school gets you ready for college.

My student is all in on the sports programs, especially basketball, and it’s been awesome to see how much they’ve grown because of the coaches and the team culture. What’s impressed me the most, though, is the college support. They don...

Graduating from Highland Prep feels surreal, but I’m super grateful for the experience. The teachers actually care and are always willing to help, which made a big difference for me. It’s a small school, so you really get to know people and feel part of a community. It wasn’t always easy, but it def...
