several opportunities for the students to prepare for college/future and encouraging teachers. student body is diverse and welcoming. School events are well planned, as well as have just enough school spirit to have fun.

Taft High school was an average school. Not much going on and the school is usually always interested in sports more than anything.

I liked the fact that the school is small enough to give individual counseling to each student. I knew 80% of the students by name and while is is a smaller district, it strives to give the students further education classes such as welding and dual credit classes.

This school is way over crowded! Fortunately, my kid attends ComArts, which is next door, but my kid has to go to Taft for electives and lunch. The one elective is band....so disorganized! My kid had to wait 5 hours to get fitted for a uniform and another 3 hours to get shoes and locker. Also, the p...
