The best parts about Tavares High School is the school spirit and the worst part about the school is probably the bathrooms they could use a little work. Some bathrooms don't lock.

For the years I have attended, I did have many options to further my education in my AP studies. I greatly appreciated that.

I personally think Tavares is a great high school! There is so much clubs and sports that you can join and the teaches are lovely and try to help out as much as possible. They could get better food but it is decent. They also have lots of great classes that will help you get ready for college.

NOT A good choice if you have a student who excels in academics. After completing all graduation requirements in 3 years, my student could not attend a 7th period band class and attend Lake Tech full time . Lake Tech gave her some hands on experience in her field that she is pursing in College. Band...

Academically this school has a lot to offer, however be warned parents there is a group of truly bad students that are often involved or talking about doing unspeakable things as well as fighting. Make sure your children know how to pick friends and this school can be a blessing
