I had great experiences in the small community of people that was my class of around a hundred students including myself. all of the teachers and staff were able to have personal relationships with each individual student including myself, allowing for us to build confidence in our ability to succeed academically. that was the good but there was some bad also, we have a fairly conservative community so students with lgbtq backgrounds were unable to express themselves safely during school in fear of other students and potentially staff showing a distaste for the way they are.

Teachers are incredibly understanding and are always trying to find ways that each students understands the material.

The teachers are great. They are very understanding and care for the kids. The other kids are the problem. Teachers don't always see the bullying going on because it's online or on the bus therefore it goes unresolved.

The teachers don't keep parents informed when the student is getting behind and then calls me when its way to late for anything to be done. One of my sons teacher last year even told Jim just to go ahead and quit cause he wouldn't amount to anything anyway how sad is that to tell a child that way to...

This school is horrible. There are a very few number of teachers who actually can teach. It's old, small, and not a good environment. Teachers are teaching subjesubjects that they are not qualified to teach in. Students are being set up for failure. There are very few classes available to students....

We visited this DHS for the first time in the fall of 2013 and we are very impressed. The faculty and staff really seem to care so much about their kids, they are like a family. Our child will be transferring from a larger school in Florida and we hope she will have a more positive experience here....
