This is my first year at this school and it's a lot different than the others i've been to. It's hard to get emotionally and mentally involved and the kids don't like change such as new students. It hasn't been easy

It is a really small school and that has ups and downs. The teachers ether don't teach much or they make it impossible to understand. We have a lot of sports; so much that we all participate in more then one thing. Me for example I do: volleyball, cheerleading, book club, pageants, and drama club.

Personally, I have had a great time at BVHS. They are inviting, with fun activities, great teachers, and excellent students (which I am one of). There is only one violent incident I can think of in my school career, and, other than that, the school has been entirely safe. I has all the clubs I could want to join, with FCCLA, FBLA, Debate, FFA, and more. It doesn't have every sport, as is only a 1A school, but it has Basketball, Wrestling, Volleyball, Soccer, Cheerleading(sport?), etc. I am one of the top performing students, though, and I try to participate as much as I can, so I suppose that my view could be a little biased. It might not be as good for underachievers, or for those of average abilities, but those around me also seem to be having a good time. I don't like the arts, but I think the programs are fine, and, given that I love science, math, etc., I really enjoy those classes and think the teachers are top-notch. Overall, BVHS is an amazing school.

Our two sons graduated from Bryce Valley HS in Tropic. Both our students have become successful adults. We were active in the school and the community for years and believe Tropc is an ideal place to raise children and young adults largely because of the schools.
