For over half a century, Brockett Elementary School has been educating children and encouraging their growth. Opening in 1961, Brock currently serves over 400 pre-kindergarten through fifth grade students. The school has a high ranking for academic progress, proof that the school’s reputation for having a nurturing environment pays off.
Brockett’s curriculum includes reading and math initiatives that help encourage growth in these two key areas. The school also offers a monthly Engineering for a Day program where kids in all classes focus on design and engineering principles, sparking an interest in how things work and, potentially, leading to careers in engineering.
Beyond the classroom, Brockett Bobcats can get involved in a wide variety of extracurricular activities. Whether a child is into dancing, knitting, walking, gardening or bird watching, there’s a club for everyone.
