My time at UME Preparatory Academy was long. I started in 2nd grade and attended through graduation. The best part of this school is the community. Parent and teach involvement is high and everyone is there to support you. The worst part about this school is its inability to keep teachers. I feel behind in math because half of my high school math career was 'taught' online. I would like to see no more online resources used unless absolutely necessary.

I have attended UME Preparatory Academy since kindergarten. The best part of my experience was having the opportunity to meet and learn from excellent teachers. The worst part about being in the school was having to be teased. I would prefer to see change in the way the school handles bullying. I think sometimes other look as if it's no big deal u til it's too late. How you treat others and how you want to be treated is a big deal. Regardless at school, work, store, your neighborhood even at church.

The teachers here at UME are super helpful, funny and kind. They aim to get to know each student personally and this goes for the administration too. The students have a lot of options here in terms of academics and sports. From regular classes to Honors, AP, and Dual Credit, the student can challenge themselves on every level. The wide range of sports and clubs lets the student express their hobbies and interests.

For the most part my children enjoy the small school feel and environment. Most of the children are well behaved and you will not see any bullying or skipping, misbehaving that many public inner city schools have. The curriculum is rigorous and challenging which in the long run will help my children...

UME Prep is an excellent school. Our kids are thriving academically, socially, and mentally. The teachers and administrators are fantastic.

Our family loves UME. Our children are gaining a quality education. We have been at the Dallas campus for three years and we have been impressed with every teacher our children have had. They care about the quality of education their scholars receive. There are plenty of hands-on learning experience...

I do not recommend this school to anyone. They do not have extracurricular activities, no recess, short lunch break, no foreign language, no technology for the most part.
