Unalaska City School is very diverse, the administration makes me feel happy to be there, and overall it's just a good place to be at. Nobody really bullies each other and people are willing to help each other. The teachers and staff give us incentive to look at things positively and are willing to make sure that we are learning and that we will be ready for adulthood. I have nothing bad to say about the school district.

I came to UCS from a small school that didn't care very much about my education. My teachers didn't care about my grades or how I was doing. When I came to UCS, that all changed. My teachers checked up on me and inspired me to set goals for myself. They told me to chase my dreams and gave me a pathway to get there, through education.

To be honest, there are parents who just do not have time to go to games or awards only because they're tired because of work or they just don't want to. Most parents participate in extra curricular activities.
