We have a very active Beta Club for students who make good grades. Student who are members put in numerous hours of volunteering and giving back to the community. This really helped me out when applying for scholarships and such. FBLA was very active as well. At least 85% of students participated in sports even if they were not very athletic.

We have a very low crime rate. No one feels unsafe even though many of the above mentioned items are not in place.
