St. Joseph is a private school that is very rooted in it's Catholic values and it has higher academic expectations than other public schools. It's a great school to go to for high achieving students and all religions are welcome to come to this school. My advice to most people new to St. Joseph or who never went to a private Catholic school is to be prepared for a more rigorous education and community involvement than you're used to.

The science department is absolutely the worst, and does not prepare kids for college. The ONLY reason to go to this school would be for the English department which is amazing.
