High School taught me how to believe in myself. The best part of high school was participating in school sports.

Heritage High School was a beautiful and amazing school to a be a part of. The student body was huge and proud to be a Husky, as was I. The teachers cared about their students and that made me care about my own academics. I won't be were I am right now if it weren't for the adults and peers around me pushing me to my best everyday.

The best part of my experience was playing football all four years at the school. I met virtually all of my friends through the sport and built strong bonds through the adversity we faced. There wasn't much of a worst part of my experience other than me not liking some of the students' personalities. Subsequently, I don't believe anything needs to change. When withholding personal feelings towards some of the inhabitants and looking at the school objectively it's very well run. The staff and administration do a great job of ensuring all of the students have an opportunity to get involved in the school and have a clear vision of their future if the student chooses to.

50% of the teachers don't care. Discipline problems get swept under the rug. Guidance counselors do not provide equal assistance to all students who are trying to apply to colleges.

Heritage Rocks! It's a great school that while not perfect is one that is highly engaged in the community and works to truly prepare it's students for the Real World. Loosing Dr. Savage as a principal was a great loss to the school this year but I know the staff and community will rally to continue...
