Extremely disappointed. Teachers don't communicate. Good luck if you want to contact administration... you can send multiple emails and calls and never hear back. They do not treat the kids well. The kids are not a priority at the school at all. They care much more about how they look than about the kids actually doing well. They have a million policies, and they don't care if kids get hurt. Not a good or nurturing place. Would highly recommend finding a different school district.

My son graduated from WCY last year. They have a very strong science department as well as exceptional math teachers. The English department could use improvement, but overall it's one of the only highly rated middle schools in the district that allows reassignments. Not to mention, the band program...

The leadership of this school is truly exceptional. Principal Henderson and everyone we have talked to so far have been very open and supportive. Similarly, the PTSA is active and creative. You know a school is great when there are teachers there have become staples in the community. This year all the events the PTSA hosted for the kids were fantastic. It's nice when the school makes efforts to reward their students for doing the right thing and improving academically.
