It has really fallen apart recently. Bullying, unqualified teachers. Hope it turns around but I think it would be better to close.

Dawson ISD is a great school despite how small it is I love it. I get along with everybody and I've built a great bond with certain people as well. Although, some teachers give too much work and I wish they would give less ,but other than that it is great. People may think we aren't the best at things but I believe in my Dawson team. When I first moved her I didn't like it much because I felt out of place but as the people started talking to me and treating me nicely I dearly love it . Honestly, I'm very glad I moved here and have such amazing friends .

The Principal Cody Reid White and his wife Nicole Hawthorne-White who is the counselor are both incompetent and do not care about the students success, they are there to collect a check from the state of Texas.

This school used to be great. But it has gone downhill in the last few years. I think the elementary is still okay but the junior high and high school are really pretty bad. Between accepting transfer students that can't get in anywhere else, lax discipline, and unqualified teachers it's really lack...

Awesome school where the teachers are great and care about each student's success. Small school with small classes perfect for meeting the kids individual needs.
