This school has its priorities straight but thats it, nothing more. The teachers will help but to an extent. You are practically by your self at this school

The teachers are always very caring and always uplifting to the students. Mount view isn't the best school but we make do with what we have. Our county is very small and the population is small as well. But together as a community we all have the very best experiences we can make. And the teachers play a big part in that role. The teachers help us and support us with our ideas and they also get involved with us and the community.

Overall Mount View High school is a great school, but just like every school it is not perfect. This has been a good school and I've learned a lot since I've been here. Most of the staff here really care for the students and want us to learn and what's best for us.

Getting transcripts from this school is time-consuming if your transcripts are dated before 1996. I called the McDowell County BoE and spoke to Kim. She was on 3 March 2026. She promised to contact the same day. I did not hear anything that day. I called back the next day and was told Kim was not in...
