I started off school in Wisner then transferred to West Point my sophomore year. My grades were terrible before the switch and as soon as I came here, the teachers helped me drastically. My grades became excellent and I actually began to like school. The teachers at West Point really show that they care about how you are learning and aren't just there for a paycheck. They have helped my mental health in so many ways.

My Experience with my high school has been pretty good. There is plenty of activities and stuff to do so kids are involved in activites. All the sports have decent coaches and give you an oppurtunity to let you be able to be on a team. I would like to see our administration be more active with the students and participate with the students.

West Point High needs to hire better teachers. A select few are amazing but some are incapable. Some really smart kids have gone through but I'm not sure they have been pushed to be all that they can be, to really enact change.
