We regret sending our kids to Marie Murphy. Although our kids had a few outstanding teachers and classes, in most classes they were bored and learned very little. Marie Murphy (part of School District 37) is poorly run. Our son was bullied by the school and then, when we complained, they tried to humiliate him. Teachers seem unqualified. Definitely tell kids what to think rather than trying to get kids to think for themselves. Districts in the area are much better than Avoca.

We have had multiple poor experiences dealing with Marie Murphy and Avoca School District 37. In my opinion, the leadership is incompetent. The district's finances are poorly handled.
