Eastern High School has a great small-town vibe; small but community strong. Despite being rather small, we have a good variety of extracurriculars, such as band and many, many sports. We have a variety of art classes and our science/math department is particularly strong. Unfortunately, we are held back by our size, only having one language class, and a small selection for AP/CCP classes.

The most popular and fun sport is basketball. The school provides extremely fun and a numerous amount of extracurricular activities.

ELS provides an excellent college preparatory education. The courses are rigorous, especially the AP courses, but the school is small enough to give students the individual attention that they need. My child and I are very happy with the teachers and staff. They really care about us. This is a great school district. My son is on an IEP an we are pleased with the help that he gets. The teachers are wonderful.
