Prairie was the best choice I could have made for my boys. Academically, they are doing great. The school has great resources for a small independent private school, which speaks to its support of the community, as well as the many of the high-net worth families. The SC Johnson family is very ingrained in the school, as well as many other children of the "who's who" in SE Wisconsin. You get a great education in return for the cost - a trip to DC in 8th grade, small classes, and generally a good group of peers - - all of who have their eyes set on college and careers. We're very happy we found Prairie when we did.

At Prairie, you feel like you are going to school at a museum. The buildings are very Frank Lloyd Wright feeling. The teachers push you hard, but are kind and understanding if you struggle to understand something. What I really like is how everyone is treated with respect and most of the kids care a lot about doing well in school. The only thing I don't like is we have to drive a while to get there, but it is much better than any public school if you can afford to go here. /I know I will be very ready for college - hopefully an Ivy League.

I love that Prairie feels like home. Driving up to the beautiful campus is just the beginning. Since day one, I have been treated as part of a community- a community that welcomes everyone with open arms. I love that students, faculty, staff, and parents exude a feeling of wanting to be their best self. It is a special place.

With so many parent reviews on this site, I'd like to share my experience as a recent graduate of Prairie's Upper School. Prairie is an excellent school-- especially when compared with other education options in the area for high school. I only attended Prairie for my four years of high school, but...
