I'm starting my last year at Prairie and overall have had a good high school experience. I was encouraged to try things that I would not have done, like musical theatre and soccer. The other students are a mix of those really focused on academics and those who just want a lower stress place where there is no pressure to out-preform your peers. There are quite a few 1% families, but you really would not know it. Everyone is basically kind.

At Prairie, you feel like you are going to school at a museum. The buildings are very Frank Lloyd Wright feeling. The teachers push you hard, but are kind and understanding if you struggle to understand something. What I really like is how everyone is treated with respect and most of the kids care a lot about doing well in school. The only thing I don't like is we have to drive a while to get there, but it is much better than any public school if you can afford to go here. /I know I will be very ready for college - hopefully an Ivy League.

Great elite private school in Wisconsin. Our daugher is in high school and loves that all of her peers are focused but not too upight. College counseling begins in 9th grade which gets students focused on college early. Sports could be better funded and organized, but overall it is a fantastic school that delivers on the promise of a top-tier education.
