The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I feel like this school has a very unhealthy culture. Many students have left in the past because of bullying and not fitting in. The teachers make a very poor attempt to create relationships with students. Students just show up every single day and go through the motions because the teachers will pass everyone along because it makes them look good. One of the few bright spots at South East high school is that we have very good athletic departments. There tends to be poor relationships with the coaches and players but typically the players are very good so the programs look good.

The cafeteria gives you a expanded lunch menu throughout the year. The food quality is good and the fruit/vegetable bar is extremely healthy and delicious.
