The atmosphere at York High School is extremely positive and inviting. The teachers make classes interesting and they put in a lot of effort for their students. I would love to see an increase in the arts department.

I really enjoy the teachers and the students there. It is enjoyable and a great distraction from home life. However, I do wish that there was more information posted about clubs and things to get involved in. You just have to know more or less.

The school definitely attempts to prepare their students for the college level, except no finals being implemented into the curriculum. Otherwise it's a very safe educational environment. Other than the discrimination and racism.

Amazing High school. Dr. Butler, the Principal is an amazing educator that truly cares about the students. She is very engaged. My son attended York High from his freshman to senior years. He was given the opportunity to blossom in every aspect from academics to sports.

The marching band is fun and they won States Championships last year. The teachers do care about the kids. My kids are middle of the road kid...

We are a military family and York High is the worst high school we have ever attended in our 20+ year in the USAF. Most of the teachers and certainly the principal are motivated toward assisting the children who come from the upper most income bracket. The school has a serious drug problem. One teac...
