York High school is a school that strives to educate their students as best as possible. They aim to prepare their students for further education beyond the walls of York High. They are many programs within the school that students and choose to get involved in. York High offers the International Baccalaureate Program as well as the Governors school for science and technology and the School of the Arts.

I have always loved York high school. The teachers are always trying to help and there is just no drama between student and teacher

I think York High School is an overall good school. They have a friendly atmosphere as well as nice teachers that are there for you. They give opportunities to get involved in your community, offer programs and support students. However, I do feel that they could do more to announce the clubs they offer.

Amazing High school. Dr. Butler, the Principal is an amazing educator that truly cares about the students. She is very engaged. My son attended York High from his freshman to senior years. He was given the opportunity to blossom in every aspect from academics to sports.

Great School, don't send your kids to Tabb because it's popular when this is the best school in York County!!!

I had one child graduate from YHS and one is currently a sophomore. The New Horizons Auto-tech program was what my oldest needed. I'm glad that was available. The marching band is fun and they won States Championships last year. The teachers do care about the kids. My kids are middle of the road kid...

We are a military family and York High is the worst high school we have ever attended in our 20+ year in the USAF. Most of the teachers and certainly the principal are motivated toward assisting the children who come from the upper most income bracket. The school has a serious drug problem. One teac...
