The best thing for me was the connection I had with some of the staff, they really impacted my life and motivated me to do better with my education. The worst was probably the way athletics shut down every assembly or activity idea so that I something I hope changed already. I hope the school has gained so much more school spirit because that is something the whole school lacked.Overall I really enjoyed being a Yuma High criminal.

My high school experience was honestly best although during Covid we had to adapt to online classes, even with online classes our teachers were always there for us and always help us with everything. The school had awesome clubs for students to join. Our school has a lot of school spirit that students really enjoy. Teachers and staff are always there to help you and they are very nice people.

Yuma High teachers generally support the students some more than others (Brown, Gastelum, and Lozano are the best). Some teachers need to be on their way out and it shows. CTE programs are a need to participate in. The culinary class is amazing. I would take it all 4 years if possible. I would recom...

I only went here for TWO SCHOOL YEARS. There is only a handful of teachers that actually do their job in helping the students learn. Most of the administrators act like children, and the security guards refuse to do their job correctly. There is a lot of favoritism when it comes to the students. Mor...

Overall, not much to say other than that the teachers and councilors are great. I've been around campus—students aren't very engaged with what they're learning. A plethora of reasons can be given to explain why. One being is that the majority of the students come from Hispanic orgins. Families can b...

Overall the academic experience could be much better too bad the teachers are forced to allow students to pass their class even though they don’t meet the minimum requirements. This is something that isn’t just happening at this high school but all the high schools in Yuma County. Teachers are force...
