My overall experience from Yuma High School doesn't include a lot of ups and downs because I think that YHS does a very good job by creating a safe and welcoming space. Even when I was a freshman and thought that high school was very intimidating I felt like it was very inviting. I have usually had good experiences with YHS and if I did have any bad experiences, I can't remember any of them.

The teachers are very good with their job, they help you with everything they could, and our school is very good at sports. The only thing I would change is the food is not very good.

I moved to Yuma as a freshman, coming from a very small school beforehand and I do not regret my decision at all. The academics are great. The teachers have pushed me to be my best, which has led me to do things I never would have thought possible. Athletics play a huge part in my life and Yuma also just so happens to be very successful in that field.
