I was born and raised in Yuma Colorado. Naturally like most kids i attended the school in the town. I've never felt safe and comfortable anywhere else except at Yuma High School. The staff wants the student to succeed over anything else. The value our life and future so much. I haven't even mentioned the school spirit. Our school mascot is the Indians. The town is actually named after the chief of a tribe that lived there name Yuma. We consider ourselves a tribe. "Tribe pride" is one of our towns motto's. We are a tribe and we look out for one another. Thats what the school shows. Thats what the town shows.
