Hidden in the upper reaches of Spokane, North Indian Trail isn’t spotlighted as much as its neighbors. “It’s often overlooked,” says Mike Bass. He’s a managing broker with Century 21, a Realtor since 2002 and a lifelong resident of Spokane. “As real estate professionals, we sometimes focus on Five Mile Bluff because there’s so much new construction, and it has more visibility because of its elevation. North Indian Trail has a bunch of new construction, too, and it’s still very close to town. It’s good to see that people are moving there and giving it the attention it deserves.” With a population swelling above 7,500, the neighborhood has added more than 400 housing units in the 2020s, and more traffic has come to Indian Trail Road. The Spokane River and surrounding parks have become a major draw for locals and tourists too. But that growth hasn’t changed the character of the neighborhood.
