Sheridan Park offers quiet residential living less than 3 miles from downtown Terre Haute and Indiana State University. This primarily residential neighborhood is close to some of the city’s biggest employers and Terre Haute North Vigo High School. “It’s been built up over the years and has become a good neighborhood with yards and homes that are more spread out,” says Cy Marlow, a 40-year resident of Terre Haute and principal broker and Realtor of L.J. Michaels Inc. “It’s close to everything but it feels more like a subdivision.” Sidewalks line most streets and mature trees dot the neighborhood. There’s a mix of midcentury bungalows, Cape Cods and ranch-style homes, some with attached or detached garages. Homes in Sheridan Park rarely come on the market, but there was a $75,000 sale in 2025. According to a Homes.com calculation, which uses a combination of estimate data, the average home value in the neighborhood was about $93,000 in April 2025. Kids may attend Benjamin Franklin Elementary School, graded C by Niche, before heading to Woodrow Wilson Middle School, which receives a C-plus. Terre Haute North Vigo High School, B, has an enrollment of more than 1,700 students. The
