Green space galore within the city limits
Wedged between Cathedral Heights, Georgetown and acres of parkland, Glover Park is an evergreen community that’s best known for striking a balance between convenience and congeniality in the busy city. No matter where you land, amenities are just steps away. “Glover Park is very unique in terms of it being in the city and getting all that green space,” Chad Dudley, Principal at The Dudley Group of Compass and resident of Glover Park for the past 12 years says.

Authentic German experience at Old Europe
Whether residents are looking for groceries or prepared food, they’ll find it all on Wisconsin Avenue. The lively stretch teems with beloved dining rooms, take-outs and big-box retailers. Locals have a deep affection for Old Europe, a landmark restaurant that has been serving authentic German food since it opened its doors in 1948. Visitors are served by Waitresses dressed in traditional German Dirndls, while the interior of the restaurant is decorated in an ‘old world’ style. For those looking for American cuisine, Glover Park Grill is another local favorite. From its crab cake sandwich to its filet mignon, its menu is one that won’t disappoint. The area’s Whole Foods is the first of its kind in the DC area. With the help of an innovative “just walk out” technology, the market nixes manned registers and sends your receipt by email.
