Why Live in Colonial Park

Five miles from downtown, Colonial Park is a bedroom community in the southeastern section of Wichita Falls. Residents can walk to Midwestern University if they want to, as it's less than a mile away, and the city's largest green space, Weeks Park, is connected to Colonial Park via a trail system. When they aren't golfing, locals can head to the art galleries at the university, or to Sikes Lake for fishing. Downtown has a growing gastropub scene and is a major site for local events. One of the area's largest employers, Sheppard Air Force Base, is just 10 miles north.
