Ypsilanti, commonly called “Ypsi,” is a small city in southeast Michigan with just over 20,000 people and is best known for being home to Eastern Michigan University, EMU. The city also has a rich automotive and manufacturing history. Ford Motor’s Willow Run Plant was the world's leading producer of bomber planes during World War II.
