John McGlannan lives in Tilghman Island, Maryland with his wife of 26 years, Patricia. John and Patricia came to Tilghman Island to restore and operate Tilghman Island Country Store. The store has become a focal point of island life, and is a wonderful spot to meet both new friends and clients. A trusted businessman, John is one of the islands top producers, While John specializes in Tilghman real estate, his knowledge of Talbot County and the surrounding counties has served his careers, and customers, well. John McGlannan has been a realtor since 2006. Already a real estate investor, John got his license to further his own investment goals. Soon after receiving his license colleagues and friends reached out to John to assist them in investing. This quickly turned into career for which he is very well suited.

Having grown up on the Eastern Shore John is familiar with both the commercial and residential sides of investing, and the many nuances of the Eastern Shore properties. Johns customers have grown from investors from first time homebuyers, to families looking to upgrade, to retirees looking to find their spot on the Chesapeake Bay.

In his early career John worked with Upper Shore Title in Easton Maryland to learn the intricacies of the title work and zoning issues, a skill set that has served him well. During this time, he managed a multi million-dollar estate in Talbot County, overseeing renovations and expansions. Johns familiarity with sourcing, zoning, permitting, purchasing, and financing properties allows home to guide and support his customers knowledge in an ever-changing environment.

John has the skills and experience to help wide variety of buyers looking to purchase their next shore property. John equally welcomes area sellers who are looking for an informed and hands on agent to help them find their best buyer.
