It was truly a pleasure working with Candist Martinez As someone living in Tennessee and needing to find an apartment in Chicago that met specific accessibility needs – no stairs due to my disability – and a desire for a patio to enjoy my morning coffee, I was a bit apprehensive about the long-distance search. However, Candist put all my worries at ease.
Her knowledge of the Chicago real estate market is exceptional. She listened intently to my requirements and didn't waste any time showing me unsuitable properties. In fact, she found the perfect place for me – an apartment in a quiet neighborhood, conveniently located close to my job, and with plenty of everyday businesses within easy walking distance. Karina is an excellent realtor. She is one of the best. I had such a great experience working with her. She is well organized and always prepared. She has lots of patience and does not give up on looking for the house that her client is looking for. For example, I seen about 20 houses with her and they were all a no for me. Karina opened my eyes to a world I never imagined I would be living in. My fiancé and I went from a two bedroom apartment over looking the Chicago Executive Airport to a house on 5 acres with a barn!
As a first time home owner I didn’t realize how many steps there were to buying a house. And each step can be bumpy and bigger then the next. This process was SCARY! and nerve wracking, and exciting and crazy but guess who was there by our side. Karina! Not only was she confident that we would get to the top of the steps but she basically carried us the entire way. She was there for support, she was there to smooth the communication between us and the previous owners, she helped with paperwork, deadlines, and gave us tips and tricks for finding the money we needed to purchase our house. She was there at 10pm on a Sunday night to comfort me as we anxiously waited to hear if our offer was accepted. And was there for us as we handed over our savings at the closing. Karina literally took us to the top, she helped us make the best decision of our lives….besides me saying yes to his proposal of course and now we live in our dream home!

Karina sold my first apartment complex in Chicago on 5/3/2019. I was so please with her work ethics that I had to ask her to sell two more properties for me. The Second property sold on 5/17/2021 for over 20% more than the selling price thanks to her wise selling tactics. The Third property sold on 7/21/2021, and once again over the selling price. All three properties sold in record time!!!! While this can be a stressful process, I felt 100% confident by partnering with Karina for the sales, she was very candid, providing great feedback and she clearly explained all details and manage the actual sales brilliantly. Karina is the best agent in the industry. I spoke with several agents previously and never felt the connection I was looking for. Some were pushy and others I just felt didn’t care. However, when I first met with Karina, I knew the search was over. I highly recommend Karina to all my friends, family, and anybody else looking for a home. Her work ethic is on another level. She definitely looks out for your best interest and truly cares about finding her clients the perfect home for them. I was impressed with how quickly she recognized my taste in a home and quickly sent me tons of great listings. The first conversation I had with her, I mentioned a few properties that peaked my interest. Within an hour, she had appointments the next day every half hour for all four properties I had mentioned. On top of that, she worked around my work schedule and was able to get the listing agent to show the properties after I got out of work. She is very determined and quick to get stuff done. When I met with her in person she gave me a neat an organized binder that was a step by step home buyers guide. This was my first home purchase and that was such a time saver. Instead of doing a bunch of research and asking friends and family about the process, she had it all printed out in an easy to read format. Such an efficient way of helping people understand the process. Karina is extremely professional, polite, and all around pleasant to work with. She was very patient with me from start to finish and answered every question that I threw at her. She’s extremely knowledgeable and I was comfortable the entire time. Karina recommended a great lender and a great attorney as well. I couldn’t be happier with the home Karina helped me find. The bottom line is, if you don’t go with Karina, you’re nuts. Karina recently shepherded us through both processes of selling our former and buying our current home, and we couldn't be more grateful. I procrastinated writing this review for several weeks because I've been struggling with finding the right words to do her justice. In short, Karina cares far more about her clients' well being than her commission. Selling our home was seamless. She clearly explained options along with the pros/cons of each and was as present and responsive as a realtor could be. Many realtors don't show up for inspections and other events, but Karina wants to be there. Our home sold in just a couple weeks. Buying our current home was where she especially shined. Everything was progressing smoothly, but then we discovered a potential serious issue with the home during the final walk through, which was incredibly concerning and stressful. Karina was our fierce advocate, relentlessly working with the sellers to resolve the problem. She made several additional appointments (without us even asking) to ensure we were purchasing a quality home, and was prepared for the deal to fall through if we didn't have that peace of mind she cares so deeply about. The issue was ultimately resolved much thanks to her hard work and diligence. We are thoroughly enjoying and couldn't be more content with our new home.
