Interstate 40 travels toward downtown Albuquerque—about 5 miles away—and traverses the entire state from east to west. On the neighborhood’s west side, New Mexico state Route 345 connects to other western suburbs of Albuquerque and other, larger thoroughfares. Coors Boulevard runs alongside the neighborhood as well and converges with Central Avenue, which connects to downtown
