The community of Northridge, in northern Albuquerque, consists of suburban streets sprawling out from either side of Wyoming Boulevard. “There are actually two halves to Northridge,” says Associate Broker Mike Haley of Coldwell Banker Legacy Realtors, who has 55 years of experience in the area. “They built all the homes on the west side and then jumped across Wyoming to start the other one. The eastern side is almost as large as the one on the western side, where there’s only one through street. Both areas share the same subdivision code. The whole place is a quiet, peaceful neighborhood.” The area appeals to homebuyers with its simple architecture, sizeable city lots and its quick access to multiple urban amenities. Prospective owners tend to favor Northridge due to its architecture and lot sizes. “The area has larger lots than other places around town, so people who want a big yard or a pool like it,” Haley says. “There are a lot of brick ranch-style homes as well, which is a big draw.
